Yesterday, we introduced a new event series within our music program, called Audio Spaces. It is built around one simple idea: collective listening in a cozy setup, with a vinyl record of iconic album playing from start to finish.
Audio Spaces, A New Kind of Listening Session

For the first session we listened to Blue Lines by Massive Attack, the genre-defining album that carved out the trip hop sound in the early ’90s. A deep, moody album that still hits hard, even decades later.
The program is hosted by Marin Echkel, a long-time music enthusiast who shares thoughts between tracks, opens up conversation with the audience when it feels right, and will welcome guest speakers from the music world in future sessions.

We designed the space to feel like a living room, but reimagined, just enough to make it feel different from the everyday setup. A gramophone, carpet, sofas, moody lights, and good drinks to welcome anyone who dropped by. The setting made it all feel more inviting. Intimate.
And what we loved most? It didn’t feel like an “event.” It was just music, and a room full of strangers sharing a moment. Something we always aim to have whenever we’re shaping a new format within our cultural program.

We’re already planning the next Audio Spaces, so if you’d like to stay in the loop and know when it’s happening, sign up for our dedicated newsletter and follow us on Instagram.
