Behind the Bar: The Cocktail Programme, and the Person We Are Looking For
Coffee & Cocktails · Open Position
2026
Holographik Space is one floor in Zagreb that changes what it is several times a day. In the morning, it’s a specialty coffee bar and a place to work. By afternoon, the same room might be holding a brand’s collection, or have a photo set built right through the middle of it. From five, the grinders go quiet and the counter turns to cocktails.
The bar isn’t a service point attached to a design space. It’s one of the programmes the space runs. And it gets the same attention as anything we put on the walls. The list is developed, not inherited: classics made properly, a short list of our own, and a few things that exist only as long as an ingredient is in season. It gets built, tested, argued about, changed — then changed again.
The position is an everyday one. Most of it is service, which is the part that decides whether anyone comes back. The rest is development: building the list, testing what works, keeping a few experiments running behind the bar, and putting them in front of guests to find out what they honestly think.
The other half of the job is the room itself. Exhibitions, DJ sets, dinners, brand nights, talks: the bar runs through all of them, and on those evenings the drinks are usually made for the event rather than pulled off a standing list. What those evenings look like is easiest to see in our projects. Guest shifts and mixology talks bring other bartenders in, so the programme keeps moving instead of settling.
Behind the counter you are also the person guests talk to, which is how a room full of strangers turns into people who keep coming back. That is the part of the job we take most seriously.
We are looking for someone who wants a hand in building this, not only in running it.
