Objects and Frequencies: Bottone Comes to Zagreb
Design Exhibition & Audiovisual Experience · with soba.hr
16–18 September 2026
From 16 to 18 September the floor belongs to Bottone. The Berlin brand, founded by brothers Michele and Daniele Luciano Ferrazzano, makes furniture and objects that sit between Italian postmodernism and the Bauhaus, and the two of them have been making music together since the nineties. That is where the title comes from: the pieces are the objects, the closing night is the frequencies. The event began as a conversation between Bottone and Holographik about doing something in Zagreb, and it grew from there. soba.hr support it by hosting and running the programme across the three days.
Three days in one and the same Space, adapted a little each day to what that day is for — from the presentation, through the open showroom, to the closing night.
Wednesday opens the exhibition in the evening, with a design talk about the pieces, the thinking behind them, and the people who made them. Invitations go out, and the evening is open to everyone. On Thursday the doors are simply open: the showroom runs all day, no list, no ticket, come and look at the furniture the way you would in a shop that happens to be an exhibition. Friday closes it with a DJ set by Bottone and visuals by Holographik, which is the point where the objects and the frequencies finally share the floor.
