Thursday 29 October, from 20:00, The Drop by Taste is back at Holographik Space with an evening called The Sound From the East: How Seoul Found Its Own Groove. Music and conversation with BILL.E and DAUL, hosted by Sani with co-host @tonetuoro from heat.radio. Free entrance. Powered by G-Shock, produced by Taste Studios.

The subject is how Seoul built a club sound of its own, from Itaewon basements to Hongdae clubs, and how hip-hop, R&B, house and club music found their way into it. BILL.E is part of the WAV crew, behind WAV INVITES and the nights at Bolero, Grain Haus and Hole. DAUL joins him for the conversation and for the set that follows it.

The format is the one The Drop has run here before: a conversation on the floor, visuals on the wall, and a curated set that takes over once the talk is done. Music, conversation, visuals and a set connecting Seoul to the club, in that order.
